A single mattress or box spring picked up and hauled away for $99 before HST. We do the stairs and the elevator, so you do not have to wrestle it to the curb.

What happens on the day
A mattress is light for its size and hard to hold. It bends in stairwells, catches on railings and will not fit in most elevators standing up. Most of the work is the route out.
- You send a photo of the mattress or box spring and note the floor, the stairs or the elevator.
- We confirm the price. A single mattress or box spring is $99. A mattress with its box spring, or a few items together, is priced from the minimum load of $119, confirmed from your photo.
- We arrive in the booked window and carry it out, folding or tilting it to clear corners and rails.
- It is loaded and hauled away.
What we take and what we leave
We take mattresses of any size, box springs, foam toppers and bed frames. Pillows, bedding and a headboard can go with them in the same visit. A bed with a frame, a mattress and a box spring is usually a small load rather than a single pickup, and we price it from your photo.
Tell us before you book if the mattress has had bed bugs. The City's advice for infested mattresses is to wrap them completely in plastic, and it suggests making the item unusable so nobody picks it up. Leave the plastic on, do not drag the mattress through the building, and we will plan the carry with you.
We do not take chemicals, paint or propane, and a waterbed has to be drained first.
What changes the price
The single-item price is $99, covering one mattress or one box spring. These are the things we check in your photo before confirming it:
- Number of pieces. Two pieces such as a mattress and box spring are priced from the minimum load.
- Stairs and elevators. A fourth-floor walk-up takes longer than a ground-floor door.
- Carry distance. A long hallway or a back-lane unit adds time.
- Size and weight. A king memory-foam mattress is much heavier and harder to bend than a twin.
- Same-day service is plus $50 on top of the job.
| Source | Per mattress |

| City of Toronto drop-off depot | $142.40 per tonne, plus a deposit of at least $40 |
What to do before we arrive
Mattresses are simple to prepare for.
- Strip the bed and take off the pillow-top pad, sheets and protectors. Put the bedding in a separate bag.
- In a condo, book the service elevator. Many Toronto towers require a booking for moves and large items, so ask the front desk and tell us the window.
- Check the route for the width of stairwell turns and doorways. If the box spring is rigid, tell us how many turns there are.
- Move the mattress to the room nearest the door if you can, and clear shoes and rugs from the hall.
- If the mattress is already wrapped in plastic, leave the wrap on.
Toronto's curb collection and the two depots
In the City of Toronto, mattresses and box springs are collected at the curb as oversized items. Set them beside your garbage bin on your regular garbage day with 0.5 metres between items. The City does not list a set-out time on its page, and there is no separate rule for condo buildings, so ask your property manager. Every house and multi-residential unit pays an annual oversized and metal items fee of $23.23 for 2026, whether or not it uses the service, so a house has already paid for curb collection. If the mattress is infested with bed bugs, the City says to wrap it completely in plastic.
Only two City depots take mattresses: Commissioners Transfer Station at 400 Commissioners St. and Dufferin Transfer Station at 35 Vanley Cres. Both are open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed on weekends. The fee since July 1, 2026 is $142.40 per tonne, charged in 7.02 kg steps, so a 30 kg mattress costs about $4 to $5. A deposit of at least $40 is taken first, and you need a safe motorized vehicle with the load secured. Check the City's depot page for service notices before you go.
Curb collection adds no charge beyond the annual fee, but it waits for garbage day. The depot needs a vehicle and a weekday. A paid pickup makes sense when you are on an upper floor, have no vehicle, are in a building with no curb, or cannot wait for the next collection day.

Yes. Book the service elevator for the pickup window and send us the unit number and floor. We carry it down, so it never has to go to the curb.
